Beetlejuice: I think it was Dostoyevsky who said
Line of Events
After a family tragedy, three generations of Dietz return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter Astrid accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife. Jenna Ortega, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Kathryn O’Hara, Justin Theroux and Monica Bellucci share why Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice was an experience they’ll never forget. Tim Burton said the film would only be made if Michael Keaton returned to reprise his role. Keaton said in March 2014 that this was the only sequel he was interested in. The film refers to a “French physicist”; Maria Sklodowska-Curie; she is actually one of the most famous Polish scientists in history, often considered second only to Copernicus. Later, shit..

SPOILER: There’s a tribute to Bob Skinner at the end who died in the movie. In Late Night with Seth Meyers: Michael Keaton/Connor O’Malley (2024). Courtesy of Island Def Jam Music Group Licensed by Universal Music Operations Ltd. Plot After a family tragedy, three generations of Dietz return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter Astrid accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife. The cast of Keaton, Ryder and O’Hara return, unfortunately Baldwin & Davis didn’t. However, I completely understand Burton’s reasons for not including them.
Could the characters last?
There’s also the ever-excellent Ortega, Dafoe, Theroux and Bellucci along for the ride, though she’s completely unnecessary here. Devito gives us a memorable cameo and Burns Gorman gives us some scenes. VerdictBeetlejuice 2 is one of those sequels that people have been talking about for decades, including countless rumors, fake news, and even fan-made trailers, but I never expected it to actually happen. When the trailer dropped, it was officially, undeniably, and I was both excited and hesitant. You see, I’m of the generation that saw the original movie when it first came out and loved it, only to get the sequel 36 years later! Could it live up to expectations? Well, the answer is very controversial.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice surprised me by how little it did
The three and a half decades they logically had to do this was strongly nostalgic. Yes, there are hints here and there, yes, there are scenes, and yes, there’s a certain song that returns, but mostly they’re really making a movie for a younger generation that probably didn’t see the original any more than Beetlejuice. fans and I personally didn’t appreciate it and found it a confusing choice. Another actor, Keaton, did not feel the same way as the Beatlewis. I’m not sure if it was him or the writer, but he wasn’t the charming character we’ve come to love and know from the 80s. Lydia? Ryder delivered and was fantastic, it was a great comeback.
well, she was there
O'O'O'O'O'O'O'O'O'O'O&# 39;O'O&# 39;O'O'O'O'O'O'O'A'A' A'A'A’ra was a big Delia again, but remember Delia is a wildly annoying character, right? So having so much screen time compared to the original movie was definitely not good. Theroux was brilliant, Ortega was brilliant, Dafoe was his usual crazy self and Bellucci was……. Look, I love Bellucci, but she ended up being set up as the film’s antagonist, she’s barely on screen, she doesn’t contribute anything, and even the characters in the swan song are rushed and frankly awful. You see, the plot is very tired and very generic. he needed that nostalgia, he needed Beetlejuice, he doesn’t even have much. And if we have Beetlejuice scenes, they are very weak.
