Over the course of my long gaming life, I came across different people and many conflicting opinions. Over time, most disputes and civil strife were resolved, but unresolved issues remained! One of them is a dispute between two categories of players. One category of people persistently tries to remain in their opinion that games are primarily judged by graphics! (Textures, shaders, detail) And in general, gameplay is affected after drooling on the table from an epic picture.
The other, overwhelming majority of gamers do not completely agree with the first. Because for them the purely component of the game is important. (Gameplay, plot, mechanics).
And I would like to know your arguments on this topic. What player ratio are you in?? Answer: “I evaluate immediately according to 2 criteria” or “I don’t care, I’m just playing” – is not accepted.

BAYAN..
And according to the subject: Those who evaluate the game only by the graphics are grafadrochers who simply want beauty and nothing. They are most likely just too lazy to think, that’s why they choose graphics.
I’m the latter.
I played Alpha Protocol, Divinity 2 https://wilberforceinstitute.uk/uk-arbitrage-betting-sports-betting-systems (unpatched) and Fahrenheit (I played for the first time… yes a week ago =)) and I enjoyed it VERY much. What category do you think I belong to??=)
Z.Y. The topic is a button accordion, the wounds from the vanomass have not yet healed completely..
I wonder if anyone, other than the big-bellied white ones, will admit that graphics are the most important thing for them? Or the comments are entirely aesthetes and intellectuals suffering from snobbery?
I play games SOLELY for the story. However, sometimes the gameplay drags. And rants on the topic “oh, Gamebryo is crap, Cryengine 3 is a cake, go nafeh” doesn’t touch me deeply.
Although, of course, I’m not one of the radical oldfags, the first one, for example, was only able to play Fallout once.
Well that’s what a relationship is like. A beautiful picture can be a plus for the game, but usually due to fuss with graphics the developer loses a lot of time and effort, as a result the project loses in other respects.
Well, yes, some epic shooter should not have a powerful and multi-layered plot. He doesn’t need it anyway.
Degrees of graphic masturbation:
1) “In my opinion, the grafon is cool, but it’s not just the grafon!»
2) “No, if the graph turns out worse and worse every time, then we’re getting dumber!»
3) “OLOLLO, Ya S*KA VANOMASS, YES B*KA VANOMASS!»
