Line of Events
An agnostic sex worker and a newly single rabbi fall in love; discover if their relationship survives their wildly different lives and family meddling. The original name was ‘Shiksa’ which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. I’m a huge fan of Kristen Bell and this show is awesome. The writing is fun and smart, the chemistry is real, and the casting is perfect. The only real shame is that the episodes are only half an hour long. I’ve already finished 6 out of 10. Adam Brody is great in his role and the writing of his character is a smart evolution. On a slightly different note, I’ve noticed lately that a lot of my favorite shows have come from Netflix. Whether it’s this comedy or the documentary The Turning Point Bomb and the Cold War movie, they’ve really upped their game. Love Kristen Bell as always. I wonder if there will ever be a The Good Place movie or a reunion? 🙂
